We bought our tickets in the queue to save time. The queue was quite long but QR code from Headout got us straight in with no queue. This was especially good as it was getting near the end of the day to time was precious. The castle has really cool views and the museum was an excellent way to start our Osaka trip. The extra booking fee was worth it to save us time. The cake grounds are also really lovely.

A wonderful visit to Osaka Castle! The building is magnificent, surrounded by a large park that is pleasant to stroll through. A must-see spot to discover Japanese history and enjoy beautiful scenery. I highly recommend the visit! We bought our tickets on Headout, which saved us from waiting 45 minutes in line on-site.

Super easy booking and the mobile ticket worked right away, so we skipped the line and walked straight in. The castle is beautiful and the view over Osaka from the top floor was one of the best moments of our Japan trip. Take some time afterwards to walk around the grounds and the moat, it's really nice. Would book again!

I did not have to enter data multiple times. Once English language was selected. The workflow was very straightforward. I was in line to pay for it but got out after being able to purchase on line quickly.

Definitely get tickets online for the Osaka Castle. The line to buy tickets was long. It was great to be able to bypass the line and get in a line for the elevator to the 5th floor. Though you can always walk up to the 8th floor. That being said- I was disappointed with the Osaka Castle. I felt herded through. It was crowded so it was hard to view the exhibits. I would recommend the Nishinomaru Garden next door. It costs 300 yen. It's calm and gives opportunities to see the castle and sit and enjoy the surroundings.
