What to expect

Punta Cana economy car rental

This experience centers on having your own economy car category vehicle in Punta Cana so you can discover the Dominican Republic independently. You choose how long you keep the car and where you go, from local beaches to restaurants, shopping areas, and nearby attractions.

Features

An economy car category vehicle for the confirmed rental period is included, giving you private transport that fits a budget-conscious trip while still supporting day trips beyond your resort.

The rental vehicle is provided for the full confirmed rental period, so you can plan flexible drives to different parts of Punta Cana and the wider Dominican Republic without relying on tours or taxis.

Vehicle handover happens at the agreed pickup location, which can include flexible pickup arrangements at selected locations such as Punta Cana International Airport, participating hotels, or Airbnb accommodations, subject to availability.

A vehicle inspection at pickup and return documents the car’s condition at the beginning and end of your rental, helping align expectations about any existing or new damage.

Assistance from Jorens Rent a Car is available during the rental period, so you have a clear point of contact if you need clarification on the rental, routes, or vehicle operation.

A rental agreement with key rental conditions is provided, outlining the fuel policy, insurance coverage, and security deposit requirements so you understand what is included and which costs, such as fuel, insurance upgrades, delivery fees, security deposit, traffic fines, parking fees and tolls, additional drivers, late return fees, or charges for vehicle damage and lost keys, remain your responsibility.
