The Oceanografic in Valencia is a large aquarium that rivals—and likely surpasses—major aquariums such as those in Genoa and Monte Carlo. It’s divided into sections based on different environments (tropical, polar, coral reef, open ocean); the underwater tunnel is particularly impressive, where you can walk alongside sharks, stingrays, sawfish, and more... The only downside is that unfortunately, the section dedicated to the Red Sea is only open for brief periods (very early in the morning, very late at night, or around lunchtime—it’s very difficult to catch the right time), and for the rest, they offer a 3D show for an additional fee (but you don’t need to come all the way to Valencia to watch fish at the movies).

The park is very well organized and easy to navigate. The only downside (through no fault of the park) is that we went during a very hot time in the summer, and the animals were all resting in the shade. I recommend visiting during cooler weather. Water dispensers are plentiful, which is a plus for the summer. This is my second visit to the Oceanogràfic, and each time it’s a truly unique experience—a well-organized and cool place. The dolphin shows are always scheduled at convenient times. Overall, a fantastic and satisfying experience.

The shark tunnel, the beluga, and the penguins were absolutely magical. It was worth every cent and every hour spent there! Everything is wonderful—it’s worth seeing at least once in a lifetime!They have shark teeth at the aquarium shop; I bought some for the whole family. There are prices to suit every budget.The fridge magnets are wonderful—I had a hard time deciding which ones to buy.I hope to bring my family along for a visit next year.🦈🐧

A truly wonderful experience! What impressed me most about the Oceanogràfic was the variety of animals and the care taken with the exhibits. It’s a very large, well-organized place and perfect for visiting with friends or family. I especially enjoyed walking through the different areas and seeing up close species that you don’t normally get the chance to observe. It’s a visit I’d definitely do again, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia!

The setting is very beautiful, with lots of plants and trees where you can often find some shade. The animals are amazing—there are only a few of each species, but I think that’s normal since the area isn’t huge. The only downside is that many of the restaurants were closed, and I don’t think it was just because it was August. I think it’s a place worth visiting—I’d say the best time to go is March or April.

It's amazing—there's so much to see at both the Oceanografic and the Bioparc. At the Oceanografic, I really enjoyed the dolphin show and how well-organized everything was; it was a shame there weren't any crocodiles (there were only eggs). At the Bioparc, everything was amazing—especially the elephants and giraffes—and I got to see the crocodiles there. 😅

My experience at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia was simply extraordinary. The park is impeccably clean, very well located, and extremely well-organized. The attractions are top-notch, and the animals’ surroundings give you a real sense of being close to their natural habitats. The facilities are comprehensive, with excellent food stands, shops, rest areas, and friendly, welcoming service throughout the park. The dolphin show is thrilling and unforgettable. Beyond the entertainment, the park conveys an important message about conservation and sustainability. The aquarium tunnel, where we walked beneath the marine animals, is one of the most impressive sights I’ve ever seen. I came to Valencia on a work-related reward trip, but I’ll definitely return with my family to relive this experience. Without a doubt, it’s one of the most beautiful and well-designed parks I’ve ever seen in the world.

I really loved the layout of the Bioparc. It has small tunnels and shaded pathways for visitors, which made it very comfortable to explore, even in the heat. I was also pleasantly surprised that we could walk inside some of the animal enclosures, like those for the birds and lemurs, which made the experience feel much more immersive. I also really enjoyed the Oceanogràfic, especially the underwater shark tunnel and the dolphin show. Both attractions were well designed and made for a memorable day.

Our visit to the Oceanographic was the start of our trip and captivated us adults, but especially the children. The penguins, sharks, whales, birds, and tropical fish completely held our attention. The dolphin show was also very interesting. The Biopark was the biggest attraction, and it really is spectacular to see African animals in their natural habitat recreated in Valencia. The Oceanographic and the Biopark are worth every euro we paid—they’re places that create unique memories!
