It Was extraordinary Experience We Enjoyed. The views of the mountains and the mountain snow were expectacular. The pine trees and home styles were just out of a movie. The attention on the train was great.

I bought tickets in advance for me and my friend, the carriage has been changed and we had separated seats, the weather was cloudy but the train clean and nice. There was quite a bit of fog, and at one point it felt like we were floating among the clouds, which kept us from seeing the scenery in all its splendor. On top of that, the raindrops on the windows of the Bernina Express ruined our photos. On the way back, we took the red local Bernina train—the Bernina Railway—and it was absolutely stunning. We opened the window and took photos—the fog had lifted, the rain had stopped, and everything looked breathtaking.

Enjoyed the ride it's very scenic , had already seen some of the trip driving through , got the red train back and to be honest it wasn't bad you can still see a lot through the windows . The only dissappointed bit was st moritz which I found underwhelming apart from the beautiful frozen lake . Had wanted to do st moritz to Chur but don't think I will now .

Everything was perfect, the experience it self was great and worth every penny. Once you have the chance you shall try both the bernina and also the treno rosso. The views were magnificient the nature around is great, the staff in train and other travellers were really nice everything went coool we loved it to book on hedout was also very user friendly and easy, done in tree clicks thanks

What a wonderful trip on the Bernina Express! A breathtaking interlude! The technical design of the train and the railway route are exceptional. You are transported amid snow-capped, glistening Alpine peaks and mirror-like lakes. The majesty of nature takes our breath away thanks to the panoramic windows. The staff on board the train are friendly and professional. They weave their way through excited passengers who are constantly getting up to take photos. Hats off to them. My only regret is that we weren't seated next to each other, as I had specifically requested when booking by phone. HEADOUT

Accessibility

There are special seats available on the Bernina Express for passengers with impaired mobility who cannot leave their wheelchair. These seats must be booked by calling +41 81 288 65 65 or sending an e-mail to railservice@rhb.ch.

Additional information

Children aged 6 and under can travel free of charge without entitlement to their own seat.

Reserved seats will be attributed automatically based on availability.

Standard-sized luggage is permitted, but space is limited. Travel light for a comfortable experience.
