Pro tips to help you make a pick

Bring water shoes or non-slip sandals, as the ground can get extremely hot in summer, making the right footwear the ideal solution to get around comfortably.

Check height and weight restrictions at each slide before queuing, especially if visiting with children, to avoid disappointment at the top.

Arrive early if you need a locker, as they can fill up quickly on busy days; consider sharing lockers to save space and cost.

Use the free grassy areas for picnics or relaxing if you want to avoid extra charges for sunbeds—shade is limited, so claim a spot early.

Plan for the park’s hilly terrain and stairs; those with limited mobility may find some areas challenging, so stick to lower pool zones if needed.

About Aqualandia Benidorm

Aqualandia Benidorm is a highlight of any Costa Blanca adventure, seamlessly fitting into Headout’s collection of top water parks. With its mix of extreme slides, wave pools, and scenic picnic spots, it’s ideal for families, groups, and thrill-seekers looking to cool off and make memories under the Spanish sun.

Did you know?

Aqualandia opened in 1985 and is recognized as one of Spain’s first major water parks, helping to establish Benidorm as a family holiday hotspot.

The park’s Verti-Go slide is among the tallest capsule-drop slides in Europe, offering a near free-fall experience for adrenaline junkies from a height of 33 meters, or that of a 13-storey building.

Aqualandia features both freshwater and saltwater pools. Some attractions use seawater, surprising visitors used to only chlorinated pools.

Many slides require mats or rubber rings provided at the rides, adding to the fun and safety of the experience.

The park is built on a hillside, giving it unique elevation changes and some of the best water park views in Spain.

Why visit Aqualandia Benidorm?

Record-breaking thrill rides

Experience Verti-Go, one of Europe’s tallest capsule-drop slides, and a variety of high-adrenaline attractions that challenge even the bravest visitors.

Family-friendly splash zones

Dedicated children’s areas and intermediate slides ensure younger guests have just as much fun, with safe, age-appropriate spaces to enjoy themselves in.

Stunning panoramic views

Enjoy breathtaking vistas of Benidorm’s skyline and the Mediterranean Sea from the park’s elevated towers and slide platforms.

Relaxation for all ages

Unwind in wave pools, jacuzzis, and lazy rivers, or picnic on grassy lawns shaded by trees, perfect for a laid-back break between rides.

Plan your visit

Main Aqualandia Entrance

The main entrance is located facing the Aqualandia car park and the approach road shared with Mundomar, clearly marked with large Aqualandia signage. All visitors, regardless of ticket type, enter through this gate. The forecourt is paved and gently sloped, making it accessible for most guests. However, please note that while the entrance area is generally step-free, the park itself is built on a hillside with many stairs and gradients, so wheelchair and limited-mobility access is restricted beyond the entrance and lower pool areas. Lockers, sunbed rentals, and guest services are available just inside the gate.
