Pro tips to help you make a pick

Standard admission is ₩18,000 for everyone aged 3 and up. Children under 3 enter free with ID, and there is no separate adult or child ticket pricing.

Plan extra on-site spending if you want the full experience: the Alpaca Healing Walk is ₩15,000 per person, the Alpaca Safari Train is ₩3,000, and Paca Coins are sold in sets of five for ₩5,000.

Bring cash for feeding. Paca Coin vending machines require cash, while the Alpaca Healing Walk is card payment only.

Arrive by about 10:00 if the 10:10 am Alpaca Run is a priority. It happens once a day and there is no second showing later.

Weekday early afternoons are usually quieter after tour groups leave around lunch. Late morning from 10:00 to 12:00 is the busiest period, especially on weekends and public holidays.

Do not pay extra for a skip-the-line product if one appears on an OTA. Research found no real express-entry benefit, with entrance waits usually about 0–5 minutes off-peak and around 10–15 minutes on busy weekend mornings.

If you are coming from Seoul without a car, compare transport carefully: direct shuttle buses are about ₩30,000–₩40,000 round-trip and usually do not include admission, while full-day combo tours around ₩90,000–₩120,000 usually bundle transport and entry.

Choose your tour style based on time. Many combo tours allow only about 90–120 minutes on site, while independent visits typically take 2–3 hours and let you stay for later shows or finish the full loop.

About Alpaca World

Alpaca World is Korea’s only alpaca theme park, according to TheSmartLocal, and it feels closer to a hillside ranch than a conventional zoo. The main draw is direct interaction: feed alpacas from your hand, join the 10:10 am Alpaca Run, or pay extra for the 10–15 minute Alpaca Healing Walk. The park also mixes in deer, ponies, rabbits, and capybaras.

Did you know?

The signature alpaca feeding run happens only once a day at 10:10 am, and the research found no second showing later in the afternoon.

Paca Coins are feed tokens, not keepsakes: they cost ₩1,000 each, are sold in sets of five for ₩5,000, and the vending machines require cash.

The paid Alpaca Healing Walk is a one-alpaca-per-guest activity lasting about 10–15 minutes, with card payment only for the experience.

A full public-transit trip from Seoul can take about 4 hours each way with multiple transfers, which is why shuttle and combo tours are so common.

Complete the park’s stamp rally across 10+ stops and you can earn a sheet of alpaca stickers at the end of your loop.

Why visit Alpaca World?

10:10 AM Alpaca Run at the Playground

The day’s signature moment happens at 10:10 am, when a herd of alpacas runs into the Alpaca Playground for public feeding. Visitors line the fence to hand-feed them, and because there is no second showing, arriving late means missing this short event.

10–15 Minute One-on-One Alpaca Healing Walk

For ₩15,000, this paid activity lets each guest lead one alpaca on a guided walk of about 10–15 minutes. Reviews cited in the research call the one-to-one interaction a highlight, and it offers closer contact than standard feeding from the fence.

About 50 Alpacas in Andes Ecological Ranch

This spacious paddock recreates an Andean pasture and lets about 50 alpacas roam more freely than in the entrance pen. It is one of the best places to watch calmer behavior, take photos against the mountain backdrop, and see the scale of the ranch beyond the morning feeding event.

More Than Alpacas Across Animal Zones

The park expands into Deer Land, Rabbit Land, Pony Land, Owl Land, and smaller-animal areas with capybaras and fennec foxes. That mix makes the visit feel closer to a roaming farm and small wildlife park than a single-species alpaca stop.

110-Acre Hillside Loop with Scenic Stops

Alpaca World spreads across a 110-acre hillside, so the visit includes steady walking between enclosures, rest zones, and viewpoints. Along the route you can collect stamps at 10+ stops, climb to the Alpaca Observation Deck, and finish in the fairy-tale feel of Bird’s Garden.
