We entered at 12:20 p.m. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of this museum, and especially to the guide who accompanied us throughout the entire tour and introduced himself as Thomas. He has a remarkable talent for explaining the exhibits and keeping visitors engaged in everything they see and hear. He shared a wealth of fascinating information and insights that we had not found anywhere else, presenting them with great respect and a profound understanding of the history of that period. Both my son and I were deeply impressed by this visit, but above all by Thomas's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. We are truly grateful that we had the good fortune to be guided by someone as exceptional as Thomas. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable experience.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared many stories about how the invasion of Poland began. There was a lot of interesting information about Oskar Schindler and his wife, who managed to save about 1,000 Jews during World War II. The guide also talked about his personal connections to World War II, which was very interesting and provided a different perspective. The tour concluded with a viewing of photos of the people whose lives were saved thanks to Schindler’s efforts, and we also learned that one of the survivors still lives in Krakow and visited the museum just a few weeks ago. I highly recommend that others take a guided tour. A word of warning: it doesn’t look like a typical museum—the machinery and the factory aren’t preserved in the way they were used during the war—but there are many other interesting things and stories that are worth seeing.

Booking was easy and information with a picture of the meeting point was fine. 👍 The experience at the museum was not what I expected. On the tour we heard only little about Schindler himself and how he saved all these people. What exactly did he do, what made him change from full blown nazi to helping jews? How did he manage to manipulate the Germans? Why did it save people by moving the factory to another country? And so on. Facts and more in depth information as if we had not seen the movie (comparisons etc being completely fine, of course). If you want to know more about life in general during the war, this museum is worth visiting. If you want to know and understand more about Schindler himself and what made him so extraordinary (apart from someone making a movie about him), I would seek knowledge in other places.

The museum guide, "Monika," was very easy to understand and gave us very detailed information. She answered all our questions and took plenty of time with us. The tour was supposed to last 1.5 hours, but it ended up taking 2 hours, which was really great. No stress. The tour was simply fantastic! As for the museum itself, we unfortunately have to point out that all written explanations were available only in Polish or English. That was a hindrance for my father, who only speaks German.

The tour guide was spectacular. As for the museum, though, it’s no good—everything’s crammed into the administrative area, and it relies on photos when it really should have life-size figures like in London. It would be more realistic and beautiful. The tour groups were way too big—not everyone could see the photos the guide was explaining—and with so many tours back-to-back, people were jostling each other. Tour companies only care about easy profits. I wouldn’t repeat the experience.

We enjoyed the experience and rated it quite highly. The site is a museum, but the guide explained everything very clearly and engagingly. She provided a lot of information about Jewish history and the museum itself. In other words, she didn’t just explain the museum—she went beyond that. It was clear that she was very knowledgeable. We were there with an 11-year-old girl, and she was quite attentive and engaged. The only thing I’d improve is the initial meeting point, because even though they give you a map showing the meeting spot, the guide doesn’t have any identifying item—like an umbrella or something similar—that would let you find them easily and avoid having to ask around or wonder about the location and who the guide is.

Bring along comfortable walking shoes as the route has around 800 stairs.

Keep in mind electric torches and cigarettes are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair. Some of the underground paths on the Tourist Route have been modified to accommodate individuals with limited mobility.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The temperature underground tends to reach 17–18°C. Dress in layers for adaptable comfort.

In exceptional cases, some of the chambers of the Tourist Route might be excluded from the guided tour.
