CoupleVerified booking3 days ago5/5Sep 20245/5Honestly didn’t know what to expect but this fishing trip blew us away. Went with my boyfriend, both total rookies. The crew was super chill and patient, nobody made us feel bad for not knowing which end of the rod to hold, lol. Sea was a tad choppy but boat felt safe. Caught my first cod ever, which I’m still bragging about. Learned a few things about local fishing traditions too. We got to keep our fish! Oh and bring a warm jacket even if it’s sunny, wind is sneaky.Aug 20244/5Went solo cause my friends bailed last min. Wasn’t awkward at all, crew made sure everyone got involved. Not a lotta waiting around, which I liked. Weather was kinda grey but didn’t ruin anything. Brought home 2 nice fish. Would go again, maybe with friends next time.Aug 20245/5Whole family had a blast. My youngest was a little seasick at first, but staff had ginger candies and checked on her all the time—soooo thoughtful! Didn’t catch much myself (bad luck?), but hubby landed a BIG one. Loved the stories about local legends. Boat gets a bit crowded in peak, so claim ur spot early!Aug 20245/5Maaaan, what a day out! Sea air, fishy hands, and a bunch of laughs. Went with three mates, all of us city kids. None of us had ever fished. The guide, I think his name was Erik, was a LEGEND. Showed us the ropes (literally), told us which fish were worth keeping. I even got to try gutting a fish, which was gross but weirdly satisfying. The boat’s old-school, not fancy, but it’s part of the charm. Would defs do again!
