We loved the idea of going anywhere but using our mobiles for activating was confusing for elderly people. On one occasion I seemed to have deactivated the day and ended up paying a e100 euro fine. After that the SBB office printed up all our days which made life much easier with no anxiety on had I done it properly, Will definitely mention it to others.

Once I understood how to ser it up and what the procedures were, it is very easy. Quite frustrated the first day as I am not tech savey, but now it is very easy and I would recommend it highly.

Use any 3, 4, 6, 8, or 15 travel days within 1 month, ideal if your Switzerland itinerary includes rest days between trips.

On each active travel day, get unlimited access to trains, buses, and boats across Switzerland without buying separate route tickets.

Seamless activation

To activate your Swiss Travel Flex Pass, simply head to www.activateyourpass.com, enter your reference number, and fill in the required details to get started.

Follow the step-by-step activation instructions provided in the ticket that you receive post-booking.

If you picked the 3-day pass, your pass is valid for any 3 days and can be used within one month from the date of purchase.

Download the ticket and show either the printed version or the digital ticket to board the trains.

Additional information

This pass is valid only for residents outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Children aged 15 years and under travel free when accompanied by a parent.

The pass can be used on non-consecutive travel days within its validity period.
