Did the Lake Bled & Postojna tour with my girlfriend and honestly it was UNREAL. Our guide, Matej, had so many weird historical facts (like, apparently dragons??) and kept us laughing the whole time. Weather was a bit drizzly but actually made the lake look kinda magical? Not too crowded, plenty of time for photos and snacks. Do yourself a favor and get the cream cake, it's SOOOO good.

Went with friends on the Slovenia highlights day trip. The schedule is packed, but you see sooo much. Postojna Cave is wild, bring a jacket! Guide was super organized, but we did feel a little rushed at Piran. Still, totally worth it for a full day.

Lake Bled was beautiful but our bus broke down for like 20 min. Guide handled it well tho and kept us entertained. Would’ve liked more time at the lake. Cake is as good as they say.

Booked the Ljubljana walking tour for my first day and it was a super chill way to get my bearings. Guide was quirky and knew all these little backstreet cafes. Only thing: lots of walking (duh), so wear comfy shoes! The castle view was GORGEOUS even tho it was foggy. Would recommend for solo travelers.

What to bring

Bring snacks or a packed lunch, especially in winter when fewer restaurants may be open.
