Was glad I went up in the lift, wasn't sure if I was supposed to go down in the lift but I walked the stairs, liked that my ticket did get me in all places as a lot of people couldn't access all areas. Not a Headout issue but left my hat and water bottle on a seat and returned 5 mins later and someone had taken them and they didn't hand them in to lost and found. Thought that was a bit awful as we were viewing a church!!!

Wir haben den Mailänder Dom an einem Samstagnachmittag besucht. Trotz der vielen Touristen mussten wir gar nicht so lange warten. Die Treppen nach oben waren viel weniger anstrengend als erwartet. Der Ausblick über Mailand ist einfach wunderschön und absolut lohnenswert. Außerdem konnte man alles ganz entspannt besichtigen und hatte genügend Zeit, um Fotos zu machen. Ein echtes Highlight unseres Mailand-Besuchs!

The Duomo is incredible and has so many stories to tell. This is a must see in Milan. Our guide was so knowledgeable and easily communicated the history and facts of the Duomo, along with wonderful stories. Visited on a hot day, but in the morning, still being on the terraces is well worth the heat for spectacular views and a close up of the intricate skulpting of the spires.

We enjoyed the experience very much. Taking the lift to the roof adds a section that is not visited by those who climb the stairs up. This means fewer crowds while you marvel over the amazing work. NOTE: There is no info given for how and where to access your entry. For those going to the terrace, the entrance is at the rear corners of the cathedral. Skip-the-line is on the right rear corner. You will go to the top first and then go inside the cathedral after your terrace visit. Also take advantage of a visit to the Museum if the Duomo if you have the all-inclusive ticket. It is short and lets you see some of the handiwork up close.

The guide was great, gave many details and information. You get to the rooftop, also included the museum. So it's worth the price. And what's great, you skip the lines, so you don't need to wait, like 10min to the church, 10min to the roof. It also saved time. Sadly, we didn't had a chance to wander the church and you enter only once.

The Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is the third-largest church in the world and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. This ticket gives you access to the cathedral’s interiors, the Cathedral Museum, and the rooftop terraces for a complete experience.

Photo ID may be required for ticket validation at entry.

What’s not allowed

Strict dress code applies: shoulders and knees must be covered; sandals, headgear, and sunglasses are not permitted.

Pets are not allowed; registered guide dogs are permitted.

Wheelchair access is available up to the first terrace level only, with limited access to the back choir area.

Descent from the terraces requires stairs.
