Went solo but felt like part of a group right away. Our driver, Khalid, legit made the whole thing next-level. Sand dunes at sunset = wowww. We even stopped to pet some camels (they’re soft, fyi). Food at camp was yum, tho the rice was a bit dry. Kinda chilly after dusk so bring a hoodie! Would absolutely do it again if I ever come back.

Our family of four (kids 7 + 9) did the tour with Zayed. Dude was so patient with our kids’ questions and the dune bashing was epic—like a rollercoaster but SANDY. Only downside was the looong wait for camels, but otherwise all smooth. Little sand in my shoes but worth it.

Bit mixed, tbh. Liked the desert views and the guide was cool, but the camp got crowded and the bbq line was slow. Camel ride felt rushed. Still, learned a lot and took some nice pics (outside, can’t do inside the tents).

Desert trip with friends was a BLAST. Our guide, Sameer, told us stuff about Qatar I never even thought to Google. Loved the inland sea part—never seen water meet desert like that. Quad biking was extra but 100% worth it. Dinner was tasty (try the hummus!).

Took this tour for my partner’s birthday. Had the best time dune bashing! Our guide Amir was super funny and made sure we were all buckled in. The camel ride was short but sweet. Sunset views = magical. Only thing, bring sunglasses or the sand WILL get you.

Getting started

Your driver will pick you up from your Doha city location in an air-conditioned vehicle. After a quick introduction and confirmation of your booking, you’ll set off toward the Sealine desert for the start of your adventure.

What to expect

Desert safari & Khor Al Adaid: This experience takes you deep into the Qatari desert, where the unique landscape of Khor Al Adaid (the Inland Sea) meets rolling sand dunes. The area is recognized for its natural beauty and is accessible only by off-road vehicles, making it a rare sight in the region.

Off-road desert drive: Ride a 4x4 with an experienced driver across sand dunes to reach the Inland Sea, a UNESCO-recognized natural reserve where the desert meets the sea.

Al Majles Resort day pass: Enjoy access to the resort’s facilities, including indoor lounges, a restaurant, and a Majles seating area for relaxation between activities.

Beach and activities: Take part in beach volleyball, football, table tennis, foosball, board games, and sand sliding, or simply unwind with direct beach access.

Convenient amenities: Use locker rooms, showers, and separate male and female facilities to freshen up after your desert adventure.

Lunch or dinner: Refuel with a freshly-prepared meal and beverages served at the resort’s restaurant, included as part of your day.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at pick-up.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor and desert activities.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.

Swimwear and a towel are recommended if you plan to use the beach or shower facilities.

Closed-toe shoes are advised for sand and resort activities.

What’s not allowed

Pets are not permitted on this experience.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited during the tour.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed in the vehicles or resort.

Smoking is not permitted inside vehicles or indoor resort areas.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible due to off-road desert driving and sand dune activities.

Guests with limited mobility or serious medical conditions are advised not to participate.

The experience includes a 4x4 off-road drive, which is not suitable for pregnant guests, individuals with back or heart conditions, or those prone to motion sickness.

Pick-up and drop-off are included from locations within Doha city limits only.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Facilities at the resort include separate male and female toilets, shower rooms, and locker rooms.

Bottled water is provided throughout the tour.
