The Salzburg Card is a must for visitors. It paid for itself in no time. We bought the 48hr card for 45 euros, and used it for free access to 7 different places, including the Untersbergbahn cable car, which is 34 euros itself. We also used it for a number of buses, so all in all it was absolutely brilliant value.

Es war einfach nur genial! Danke der Salzburg-Card könnten wir zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten kommen. Es ist ein sehr gut ausgebautes Verkehrsnetz mit den Bussen. Nie lange Wartezeiten. Ebenfalls genial, dass soooooo viele Attraktionen umsonst zu besuchen waren. Mozarts-Häuser, Schifffahrt, Untersbergbahn, Schloss Hellbrunn und die Wasserspiele, Domquartier und Festung Hohensalzburg. Wenn wir mehr Tage gehabt hätten , wären noch weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten dazu gekommen. Die Card ist ein unbedingtes MUSS und eine tolle Idee!!!!

Getting the Salzburg Card was absolutely the best decision for my trip! It made exploring the city so much easier and highly cost-effective. I used it to visit Mozart's Birthplace in the city center, rode the cable car up to Untersberg for some truly breathtaking panoramic views, and explored the historic Hohensalzburg Fortress. The fact that it includes free public transport and lets you skip the ticket lines at major attractions saved me so much time and hassle. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg!

Sehr nuetzlich und macht den Salzburg Besuch problemlos. Alle wichtigen Sehenswuerdigkeiten sind enthalten was es unnoetig macht sich immer um Tickets zu bemuehen. Das einzige Problem ist, dass es nur zwei info points gibt. Besser waere es, wenn man die Karte auch online erhalten koennte in druckbarem Format. Wir haben bei der Ankunft verkehrsbedingt 2 Stunden verloren um die Karte zu bekommen, da unser Hotel am Stadtrand war und wir zuerst in die Stadt fahren mussten.

The Salzburg card was amazing but I expected to have it on my phone digitally. Instead I had to cross the city to pick it up. It was not the experience I had expected. The card is good for so many places and pays off quickly if you want to do a lot.

Getting started
