Every employee we came into contact with was very knowledgeable and competent in their jobs. The lady at the check in desk was cheerful as well as helpful. The driver was polite as he answered questions about the area. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. But the the biggest smiles and largest personality came from Vangie at the souvenir shop. She had a joy about her that filled the heart. We sure enjoyed this experience with all these folks. Thank you.

Definitely recommend this canyon and tour group! My son and I booked the Canyon X tour for a visit during Memorial Day weekend. Yes, it was busy, but so was EVERYTHING else in the area. The tour meets at a remote location about 10 minutes south of Page, but it was definitely worth the drive. especially considering that this tour is considerably cheaper. Once you arrive on site, the check-in staff was very friendly and informative. It's best to arrive 30 minutes before the tour start time, because you have to sign waivers, get yourself prepared (sunscreen, water, etc.), and then they will assign you a 12-person van. It's a 10-minute drive in the van to get to the remote location (I found out on the tour that Canyon X is the start point of the extensive Antelope canyon system that includes the Upper and Lower Canyons). I wish I could remember the name of our driver TO the site, but what I will say is that she was very knowledgeable about the tour founder and the history of the area. After the tour, of course, you have to board a van for the 10-minute return visit. Our tour guide Jameson was very attentive, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable! He also helped our small group take great pictures. Yes, there were other small groups of 10-11 people, but Jameson did a great job of keeping us separated from the other groups.

The agents were helpful and friendly. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative plus friendly in talking with us about the history of canyon. Our guide Kelly took pictures of ourselves and played a dual flute which was perfect to go with us making videos of the canyon with her music! Our guide Kelly watched to make sure all stayed safe and all members of our group stayed together. Tour with Kelly was Awesome!

Our guide, Brandon, mixed being informative with letting us have time to appreciate the canyon on our own. He has a great laid back style, but has a lifelong knowledge of the area. The canyon is unique and so beautiful, surreal in the shapes, textures, and colors. You won't be disappointed. We don't love crowds, so we went late afternoon, shared the tour with just one other young and delightful family.

Marco was an absolutely fabulous guide. So easy to talk to, knowledgeable, great with setting up pictures, and really connected with his Navajo heritage. Absolutely perfect. The driver Adrian was a bit rough, difficult to talk to, a little intimidating. Glad he was the driver and not the guide Overall a great experience that we would highly recommend.

Tori was an excellent guide who shared lots of information about the geology and weather that creates these canyons. The beauty of these canyons need to be experienced to truly appreciate how magnificent they are. To think that what we walked through was created by wind, water and rock interacting over time is mind boggling.

Getting started

Arrive at the check-in area 30 minutes before your scheduled time. After a short orientation with your Navajo guide, prepare to enter the canyon. Take the 4x4 that drops you close to the canyon’s entrance, after which you will have to go on a short walk to enter the canyon with your guide.

Antelope Canyon X

A quieter alternative to Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, famous for its wide chambers, tall walls, and natural light that highlights the sandstone textures.

What’s not allowed

Avoid touching the sandstone walls, as the walls are delicate and easily prone to erosion.

Mobility aids such as hiking poles, canes, or walkers are not permitted.

No large bags, selfie sticks, tripods, or monopods are allowed.

Video filming is prohibited, though photography is welcome.

Pets are not allowed to join the tour.

This experience is not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with physical ailments, injuries, or any form of mobility, respiratory, or cardiac limitations.

The path is not accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, or prams.

Guests unable to handle walking on uneven surfaces or ladder climbs should refrain from participating in the tour.
