Honestly, still can’t believe we did this! Woke up at like 4am (ouch) but worth it—got picked up right on time, quick boat ride, then SO MANY balloons everywhere. My mom was nervous but the crew joked with her, calmed her down. Our pilot spun the basket around so everyone got Nile views (thanks!!). Was chilly up there, bring a sweater, trust me. Landed super smooth. My phone is basically all sunrise pics now. Would do it again in a heartbeat, even if I’m not a morning person.

Wasn’t expecting to be up before sunrise on vacation lol, but actually so worth it. The team was friendly, explained everything, and yes, the basket is bigger than it looks! Crowds were kind of wild at launch, but once you’re up there, feels peaceful. Saw temples and farms, pilot did a few spins so everyone scored pics. Only minus: felt a bit rushed at the end, but I get it, lots of balloons coming down. Still a cool story to tell friends.

Went with friends after a late night out (not smart, but we made it). The staff had jokes for days and helped us wake up. I was worried about safety but felt super secure, and our pilot seemed to have done this 1000x. Got to see the Valley of the Kings from above, which was EPIC! Only thing: don’t wear a dress, gets windy up there. 10/10 would do again.

This was honestly a highlight of our Egypt trip. Our kids (ages 8 and 11) loved watching the balloons inflate—they said it was like a giant birthday party. The crew let them help hold the basket rope for a second, which made their day. Views were INSANE! Landed in a random field and the van was there right away. Family-friendly for sure.
