Frankfurt Sightseeing: Frankfurt Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

It was really nice. It was a shame that the bus didn't stop and we couldn't get off. Because of the CSD, we also couldn't ride the entire route. Overall, it was great, but for that reason, I'm giving it only a 4 🌟

It's what you'd expect...Sitting on a bus and riding around the city while listening to pre-recorded audio. Frankfurt isn't all that beautiful like other European cities, but this is still a good way to see a lot of it rather quickly. We typically try to do a Hop-On/Hop-Off bus tour at each major city we visit, so this was no different than any of the others (just a view of a different city)...But do not expect to board this bus after 1600 (maybe even earlier but that was the time we were denied entry). 1700 is what is advertised...This might be the only company opporating Hop-On/Hop-Off buses in Frankfurt, so you get what you get. Not terrible, just wish we got that last ride in!

The tour itself was good, and we would definitely recommend it! The only downside was that we waited at a bus stop for our first pickup that hadn't been in service for six months. It took a phone call from us to clear things up. It would be helpful to publish the current, detailed schedule—including bus stop locations and departure times—directly on the website.

We really liked seeing the city from a vantage point not possible otherwise and enjoyed hearing stories about some of the tall buildings and landmarks. A tour like this puts the city in perspective with history and visual orientation.

The bus driver was very friendly and helped us with our online tickets and when our first pair of earplugs broke! The tour started in the heart of the city near the Römer. The commentary was interesting, and we got a great overview of Frankfurt. Everyone was very satisfied.
