My partner and I signed up for the tour on a whim—turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip! Our guide was sooooo enthusiastic (almost contagious energy) and really brought the stories to life. The ruins themselves are EPIC, especially with the turquoise sea as a backdrop. Heads up, there’s not much shade, so slap on that sunscreen. It did get a bit crowded near the end, but honestly, still felt special. We even spotted a couple of iguanas chilling on the rocks! Highly recommend if you want history that doesn’t bore you to sleep.

Took my mom and little bro to the ruins this morning and…wow?? First time seeing Mayan stuff up close. Our guide (Alex? Or Alejandro? Oops, forgot) was SUPER into the history, but explained things in a way my 10yr old brother actually listened lol. Got a bit hot around noon so wear a hat. Didn’t realize you can’t bring snacks inside (had to eat granola bars in the parking lot). Still, the views over the ocean were epic!!

This tour was a highlight of our trip! We went as a couple and our guide, Lili, really brought the place to life. The way she told stories, you could almost picture the city full of people. I loved hearing about the ancient trade routes and why they built it right on the cliff. Btw, bring water—there’s basically zero shade. Would do again.

Great morning, even tho it started raining. Guide provided ponchos (lifesaver). The crowds got kinda heavy by 11am but if you go early you beat most of em. Ruins are impressive but some areas fenced off, so couldn’t get close to everything. Still, loved walking around and learning about all the old rituals. Oh, and don’t forget bug spray.

Just me on this one (solo trip!) and honestly I was nervous, but the guide made everyone feel included. The Mayan stories were wild—never knew about the jaguar thing before. I got a little sunburned (my fault, forgot the hat), but worth it for the views. The only meh part was the line for the bathroom at the end, lol. Would def do again.
