We were excited to just walk across the capilano bridge, but were extremely surprised about the magnitude of the entire park. The beauty of it all. The work involved in the assembly of all of the bridges that gave us exceptional views of those majestic trees. We appreciated all the informative boards along these trails. At this time of the year, there were less people, so no waiting times and also I must say that there were no bugs, which was a bonus. I

The experience is excellent even though we need to line up to get in the bridge. Capilano bridge and the tree top experience is great! We all love it. The purchase process is also easy, only there is a bit wait to get the tickets instead of instantly. Overall, good 👍🏻

What to expect

Established in 1889, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of Vancouver’s oldest and most popular outdoor attractions, known for its 137-metre-long bridge suspended 70 metres above the Capilano River.

What to bring

Pack comfortable walking shoes. You’ll be exploring elevated walkways, forest paths, and narrow bridges.

Dressing for the weather is key too, as the rainforest can get cool or rainy.

What’s not allowed

Smoking and e-cigarettes aren’t permitted anywhere in the park.

Large bags and suitcases need to stay behind for safety reasons.

Pets can’t enter, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited.

Accessibility

Because the experience includes suspension bridges, high walkways, and narrow pathways, the park isn’t suitable for visitors with limited mobility, or those using wheelchairs or strollers.

Additional information

Children must stay with a person aged 17 or older at all times.

The suspension bridge does sway, which may be uncomfortable if you’re afraid of heights. You can still enjoy the park’s trails, exhibits, and peaceful rainforest surroundings.
