Definitely recommend this canyon and tour group! My son and I booked the Canyon X tour for a visit during Memorial Day weekend. Yes, it was busy, but so was EVERYTHING else in the area. The tour meets at a remote location about 10 minutes south of Page, but it was definitely worth the drive. especially considering that this tour is considerably cheaper. Once you arrive on site, the check-in staff was very friendly and informative. It's best to arrive 30 minutes before the tour start time, because you have to sign waivers, get yourself prepared (sunscreen, water, etc.), and then they will assign you a 12-person van. It's a 10-minute drive in the van to get to the remote location (I found out on the tour that Canyon X is the start point of the extensive Antelope canyon system that includes the Upper and Lower Canyons). I wish I could remember the name of our driver TO the site, but what I will say is that she was very knowledgeable about the tour founder and the history of the area. After the tour, of course, you have to board a van for the 10-minute return visit. Our tour guide Jameson was very attentive, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable! He also helped our small group take great pictures. Yes, there were other small groups of 10-11 people, but Jameson did a great job of keeping us separated from the other groups.

Our tour guide, Delilah was knowledgeable, funny, and a content expert. She wove stories about past and present events into the tour; shared first-hand accounts about the Canyon's significance to the Navajo tribe to which she belongs; and discussed the consequences of nature and man's impact on this natural wonder. The Canyon itself is breathtaking. Staff took great care to prepare us on what to expect, and helped us capture the beauty and majesty inside the Canyon with our phones & cameras. I think we all left awed by what we had experienced.

We really enjoyed everything about it. It was an amazing time. Unbelievable colors and shapes. Would have stayed looking at the rocks for hours. Lenny, our tour guide was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions and allowed us to explore freely. Over all a wonderful time, from beginning to end , even the show while we waited was very enjoyable Will highly recommend the tour .Thank you

Our guide Kennedy was amazing. At one point he played his flute and it gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. He made it such a memorable experience. This has been a bucketlist trip ive wanted to do for years, and it exceeded my expectations 100 fold. Thank you for the Navajo tribe for preserving such a wonderful place and for sharing it with the world to see and experience

We did the tour in the afternoon at 14.00 guided by RoR. The Lower Canyon is super beautiful and at this time you can see the different colors well. RoR was a great guide. She told a lot about the canyon, showed the well-known structures and pictures, took over photo settings and took pictures. Overall it is a highly recommended tour!

Cody was patient and helpful with everyone. Opening up that morning was really late. Cody was there. But girls in the office never showed up till 10 minutes before we left. On our reservations it stated to get there 45 minutes early. We were, but for what? Our tour was for 8am. Other then that it was great.

Wow, that was so awesome! First of all out Navajo guide was great. She told us a little history about the canyon and about the flash floods that happened in the past. The excursion was a small group of 8 and we arrived at the canyon in a few minutes of a slightly bumpy ride. When you enter the canyon you are immediately awed by this incredible, natural, beautiful work of nature. The way the sunlight shines and filters through the canyon creates beautiful breathtaking photographic opportunities for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Enjoy!

  • Explore Antelope Canyon with a Navajo guide and see Arizona’s most iconic slot canyons. Walk through sculpted sandstone passageways, hear cultural stories, and choose from multiple canyon tours, whether you want easy exploration, hands-on adventure, or hidden gems.

    Getting started

Arrive at the check-in point at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour. Meet your Navajo guide for a short orientation & briefing and begin your tour.

    What to expect

    Upper Antelope Canyon

The most famous and photographed canyon, known for its iconic light beams and wide, flat pathways.

    Features

    • Easy access: The flat, level ground makes it the most accessible canyon, suitable for families and all ages.

    • Famous light beams: At certain times of day, shafts of sunlight pierce through the canyon, creating world-renowned photo opportunities.

    • Spacious walkways: Wider corridors allow for more comfortable movement and larger photography angles.

    • Relaxed experience: Tours move along more comfortably, making it ideal for visitors who prefer minimal physical effort.

    Lower Antelope Canyon

An adventurous slot canyon with ladders, narrow walkways, and color-changing sandstone walls.

    Features

    • Ladder descents: Enter the canyon by climbing down steep ladders that add excitement right from the start.

    • Narrow passageways: Walk through tight corridors that create an immersive slot canyon experience.

    • Layered sandstone walls: Large chambers display stunning, multicolored rock layers shaped by erosion.

    • Active exploration: Requires climbing, crouching, and walking through uneven ground, perfect for visitors who want a more physical adventure.

    Antelope Canyon X

A quieter, less crowded canyon that balances wide-open chambers with narrower slots.

    Features

    • Peaceful setting: Fewer visitors make it a calmer alternative to the main canyons.

    • Varied formations: Offers both open spaces and narrow passages, giving visitors a mix of experiences.

    • Photo opportunities: With fewer crowds, you have more time and space to capture striking canyon shots.

    Ligai Si Anii Canyon

A more intimate experience with unique “H-shaped” formations and excellent photo opportunities.

    Features

    • Unique H-formations: Distinctive rock shapes carved into the canyon make it different from all other slot canyons.

    • Great lighting: Natural light filters in at angles that highlight textures, perfect for photography.

    • Shorter distance: Less walking compared to other canyons, making it accessible without sacrificing beauty.

    Mystical Antelope Canyon

A hidden canyon experience with ladders, stairs, and multi-level exploration.

    Features

    • Hidden passages: Staircases lead to tucked-away chambers not visible at first glance.

    • Multi-level paths: Explore both higher and lower sections for a sense of discovery.

    • Unique textures: Rock walls display rare patterns and shapes not seen in other canyons.

    • Exploratory adventure: Combines stair climbing, narrow slots, and open chambers for an engaging, hands-on experience.

  • What’s not allowed

    • Please don’t touch the sandstone walls; the rock is delicate, and oils or moisture can cause erosion.

    • Hiking sticks, canes, or walkers are not allowed within the canyons.

    • Leave bulky items at home; large bags, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not permitted.

    • Video recording is restricted, but you are welcome to take photos.

    • Pets and animals cannot join the tour.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is not suitable for expectant mothers or those who may find the hike too demanding.

    • The path is not designed for wheelchairs, strollers, or prams.

    • Guests who cannot manage walking through narrow passages or climbing ladders should not book this tour.

    Additional information

    • Please check in 30 minutes before your tour begins.

    • Be aware that there are no restrooms inside the canyon.

    • Tours follow Arizona local time, so adjust for any time differences.
