FamilyVerified booking2 days ago5/5Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Location: Kathu, Phuket (just a short drive or transfer away from Patong Beach) Best For: Families, thrill-seekers, couples, and day-trippers : If you think you know water parks, Andamanda Phuket completely redefines the standard. Spanning over 100,000 square meters in Kathu, this massive 58-rai destination is themed around Thai mythology and tales of the Andaman Sea. From the moment you walk past the giant dragon and towering limestone replicas, it feels less like a collection of slides and more like stepping into a living, high-energy fantasy kingdom. Top Highlights • The 3-Meter Artificial Wave Pool: The massive 10-rai wave pool pumps out rolling waves up to 3 meters high. Complete with a 300-meter white-sand beach and an afternoon DJ, it genuinely feels like hanging out at a tropical ocean resort. • Thrill Rides & Coasters: Adrenaline junkies get over 25 distinct attractions and 12 extreme slides, including high-speed drop capsules like Dragon’s Drop and high-flying thrills like Eagle Flyer. • The Floating Village & Swim-Up Bars: Instead of generic fast-food shacks, dining is centered around a market design inspired by Thailand's floating markets, paired with adult-only swim-up sand bars serving ice-cold tropical cocktails. • Safety & Family Zones: Lifeguards are stationed densely around every pool and slide, and a sprawling 5,300-square-meter kids' zone keeps younger children safe and endlessly entertained. The Pros: • Impeccable Cleanliness: The grounds, restrooms, and water channels are modern, and exceptionally well-maintained. • Cashless Wristbands: You load funds onto a waterproof wristband for hassle-free, wallet-free buying throughout the day (with any leftover balance refunded at exit). • Free Gear: Life jackets and floating tubes are provided across the park at no extra charge. The Cons • No Outside Food or Water: Bags are checked at the gate, and on-site food and drink prices are on the resort-inflated side. Tip: Eat a heavy breakfast in Patong or Kathu before arriving. • The Queue Factor: Popular extreme slides can hit 40- to 60-minute waits by midday on weekends. Tip: Arrive right at opening (10:00 AM) and head straight to the back/Naga Jungle zone first, or consider a small priority-access add-on. • Extras Add Up: Towels and lockers cost around 200 THB each if you don't bring your own. Tip: Bring a light hotel towel and book your entry online in advance (via the official app or platforms like Klook) to slash the gate price down from 1,800 THB to around 1,500–1,600 THB. Final Verdict Andamanda Phuket isn't just a place to get wet—it is a full 4- to 6-hour entertainment experience. If you balance your timing right, skip the midday lines, and pre-book your ticket, it easily ranks as the premier non-beach day out in Phuket. 10/10 would splash again!SStefan S

FamilyVerified bookingJul 20265/5The show and the place were both beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time. It was a wonderful experience, and we had so much fun.
All that, in a water park?!
With 5 distinctly themed zones, Andamanda Water Park is as vast as its fun. There's a lot to see, do, eat, buy, and click pictures of, pretty much everywhere. And if you want to do nothing at all, there's space for you to lay in the sand just soaking in the sun.
At Coral World, check out the Rolling Ripples, Wonder Waterland, etc., and Little Reef, designed just for the littlest of adventurers. Great Andaman Bay is just as fun, with the Eagle Flyer and Moken's Boat. At the Emerald Forest, get on Thailand's longest dueling slide and let the waters in Flight of the Kinnarees toss you into the skies. The Racing Nagas and Cobra Curls at Naga Jungle are just as thrilling.
If you've tired yourself out, there are many ways to unwind here: grab a drink at one of the swim-up bars, refuel with great food (many eateries to pick from!), go for a swim, or shop around for gifts. Warning: you might end up muting your phone for a while. There'll be too many compliments pouring in once you upload all the photos you click around the park.
